Nantes : la première navigation du nouveau Saint-Michel II est reportée

Faux départ. Alors qu'elle devait avoir lieu le 29 mai dernier, à l'occasion de la grande fête des "Rencontres du Fleuve", la première navigation du Saint-Michel II, réplique à l'identique du deuxième bateau de Jules Verne réalisée par les bénévoles de l'association "La Cale 2 l'Ile", a finalement été reportée. Les mâts en bois du bateau ont été livrés trop tard et n'ont pas pu être posés à temps pour l'évènement. Mais ce n'est que partie remise bien entendu. Pour patienter, on peut toujours faire connaissance avec M. Daniel Croze, Président de l'association précitée, grâce à cet article qui lui a été consacré récemment sur Ouest-France.fr.

While she had to take place on May 29th of this year, during the "Meetings of the River" (La Loire), the first navigation of the Saint-Michel II, rebuilding as before of the Jules Verne's second boat by the volunteers of the association " La Cale 2 l' Ile ", was finally put back. The wooden masts of the boat were too late delivered and were not able to be put in time for the event. But it will be for another time naturally.
