Architect and follower of Jules Verne, Mr. Jean-Philippe Zoppini had been inspired by the novel L'île à hélice to conceive his own floating and mobile island. A gigantic one, measuring 300 m wide on 400 m length, with hotels peaking in 78 m of top, beaches, a marina, all this besides the classic equipments of the luxury cruise ship. Regrettably, the death having taken him prematurely on February 10th of this year, at the age of 56, it will not have been lucky to see its dream becoming reality.
